Terms we own: renewables

20 December 2022

At Connex, we don’t waste anything. We source, trade, consult and channel the reuse of waste and residues into sustainable fuel, mainly biofuels. In short: we deliver renewables.

Renewables is a term used for both the sustainable sources we trade, as the finished sustainable products it produces, like the biodiesel you put in your tank. It is one of the main terms heard at both sides of the supply chain we carefully and energetically built, service and maintain. So ‘Renewables’ is not just a term we own, it is our raison d’être.

In terms of sustainable fuels like biodiesel, renewables are a serious part of the solution for emission reduction, positive effects on our environment, limiting climate change and other contributions to our future. As a trader and enabler between the feedstock and oil markets we focus on the resources side of things.

In terms of renewable feedstock, we source, trade and ship different sustainable products like Animal Fats, Used Cooking Oil, Fatty Acids, Glycerine, Brown Grease (floatable spent fats, oils, or greases, settled solids, and associated wastewater retained by a grease trap), Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) and Fatty Acis Methyl Ester (FAME). One by one sustainable feedstock for production of renewable fuel when handled under the right conditions and in the right quality and under strict control.

At Connex we bring the right suppliers together with the refineries to deliver the best quality renewable product to produce the utmost quality renewable fuel, adding green value along the way. Renewables are what we own to speed up the global energy transition. We own it.
