A prime example of this is Jordi Visser, our Logistics Executive, and his learning journey. Jordi took part in London’s FOSFA Arbitrators’ and Technical Experts Training Course—the leading programme from the Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations. Throughout this intensive week, he explored in depth the world of international trade contracts, arbitration procedures, and quality control.
Jordi says: “I increasingly deal with complex international issues in my daily work. The FOSFA course provided me with practical tools to perform better and develop as a professional. It was also a unique chance to expand my network.”
Beyond the in-depth learning, the official dinner on Thursday, 4th September, was the highlight. In the heart of London, among peers from different countries, Jordi celebrated the power of connection and sharing knowledge. Naturally, there were also personal highlights, such as visiting Wembley Stadium and enjoying an electrifying Coldplay concert!
What does this mean for Connex? Every new experience and all acquired knowledge are directly applied in practice. This ensures we develop not just as an organisation, but most importantly, as a team. Thanks to colleagues like Jordi, we continue to Energize the Future.
